very hard to follow.

Despite the sorrow and genuine sadness I feel about bbscout and swingbuster - I still remain excited about tomorrow.

From each kid and parent asking questions about the next step in youth ball - to watching Ortmeier and Duke and Slowey on TV - to watching the multitude of kids competing at all levels of college baseball - and many late into the season in regionals.

It is really getting hard to follow each one - because it is like rabbits multiplying.

And it is hard to balance the excitement of watching these young men for so many years - or even following them from afar - with the losses of people we care about.

I think sometimes it is hard to be happy and sad at the same time.
You spend a good piece of your life gripping a baseball, and in the end it turns out that it was the other way around all the time. ~Jim Bouton, Ball Four, 1970

Nicely said sir, Do we get wiser over the years or do we begin to know how wise we thought we were and now realize how much we need to learn.

From a baseball perspective, how much better of a baseball dad would I have been if my son had an older brother, or a relative who went up the ranks.

It is almost like each family re-invents the wheel and to make it tougher the wheel is in motion and dificult to put your finger on.

If it wasnt for this site I would be TOTALLY clueless - now at least Im just clueless.
