In August 2006 at the Goodwill Series in U of Southern California,

Tanaka pitched against our American High School players - Aaron Hicks [Twins], Mike Moustakas [Royals], Jonathan Singleton [Astros].

We are now preparing for our 30th year of International Baseball with 3 scout teams [Yankees, Reds, Rays] traveling to Australia for a 36 game schedule with the State teams of South Australia and Western Australia. Singapore will join the Series in Perth.

Participation on the 2003 Goodwill Series team that played in 6 Japanese cities created life-long memories for my son. Playing overseas against high quality competition is an opportunity that shouldn't be missed if it's offered and fits the budget. A fund-raising effort on my son's part brought the cost to our household way down.

This is a first-class undertaking by Bob and those who assist him.
