There is no way, I'm sitting in front of pitching machine taking a 90 mph pitch in the thigh. What if it misses a little higher?

That is a guy who loves his job! When Brenkus comes on TV, all things stop at home and everybody watches. My kids (and me) love the Sports Science series.

He's taken it "a little higher" the exact same way before. Look for the Nutty Buddy episode
