Congragulations...where in Northern California are you from?

Great job, Zack! Out of curiosity, what size and how old of an 11YO hits 2 HRs in a game?

We're from Live Oak, about an hour north of Sacramento. Zack turned 11 at the end of January. He's 5'3 1/2". Grown about 4 1/2 " since last August. So he's not too big, but loves baseball and practices his swing all the time. I guess it is paying off because he only hit 2 homers all season.

Good for him to learn the lesson - that hard work, even young, does pay off.

I bet he has had quite a smile om his face lately!
I think that anybody can hit the ball a mile with enough practice with the bats that are around today, but what puts your son ahead of the curve is that he can do it when the pressure is on. I have coached a lot of kids that can hit the cover off of the ball until you put someone on 3rd in the late innings.

The only difference that I have seen between good and great hitters is that the good hitters feed on the pressure.
