Thats, telling someone that they are showing ignorance is telling them they have a lack of knowledge, not calling them a name. I did not call him ignorant. I said that he was showing his ignorance (lack of knowledge, read a dictionary). I stand by my assertion. Defending a person who slams a kid on an internet site by being overly sensitive to the word ignorance suggests well...........

FO, thanks as always for your observations. I am humbled by your common sense. It always points out my ignorance.
So,Mr. Bighit, you are saying that I am 'slamming' a player by my opinion that he is a D2 or below talent level?.....if I were a major league scout giving that opinion, which is normally what real baseball people want me to give....an honest opinion.....I wasn't slamming anyone.....wow, I didn't realize this was such a 'warm-fuzzie' daddy board.....I am all for the kids getting all the college money they can get.....most of these high school kids work very hard and I am glad it is 'paying off' for some of them....I am really very happy for Mr. Medlin....the facts are that sometimes kids that really want to be a player go to a college where the playing level is above them for the first several years and never see the field...if you are going to come back and say that is not true is telling me you aren't aware of the reality of college baseball, etc.
First of all, the thread was started to congratulate hs players' achievements.

Since you are NOT a major league scout, care to share your real name with us so "we" can determine your level of "expertise" or whether it's just a vendetta? Looking at your previous posts, you seem to be pretty close to this HS program.......don't have a kid playing?
anymore?

A suggestion....perhaps you could go on the Perfect Game website, review all the signees and let us know which college programs or hs players have mistakes. I'm sure the entire baseball community would be interested.

This is your last warning. This is a hobby site. That means the moderators decide what is allowed. I would not let a scout post that here either. I also don't know of one who would make those comments in public. Your opinion on a congradulatory thread was off topic and not allowed. If you want to continue to argue the point........don't. It will fall on deaf ears. If you do not like the rules, do not post. If you do not follow the rules, it will be addressed.
