Pardon me ladies, but I lift you all up to God for him to bless you. To help one person and pray for one person means that you are helping all of humanity and praying for all humanity. I am deeply touched and revere the love you all share for those you have come to know here.

I ask for your prayers and praise God for my friend Tom Dorminy. Tom is the father of Thomas Dorminy our pitcher who pitched for my son's team who won state championships last spring. Father Tom has been on the heart transplant list since the spring. If he did not get a donor by Thursday, he was to be put on a mechanical heart.

Today, a loving family donated the heart of their 42 year old husband and Tom has been out of surgery for a couple hours, the heart pumping successfully. It is a special time and as you all know a critical time for the Dorminy family. Thomas, a senior this year, is scheduled to go to Univ South Florida next year. He praises his "Pops" for teaching him everything.

Please keep all of them in your prayers. I pray God's will is in place in this and all your lives, and I give him the honor, the praise, and the glory. Amen.
I haven't been on much lately....and my heart is sad reading these posts. I hope and pray for good news for you.

Of course, we, as a country, are devastated by the earthquake in Haiti today. I just spoke with my son, who's best friend is from Haiti----and whose family still lives there. For me, it's three degrees of separation. I feel horrible for this young man, away from his family, watching the news on tv and unable to communicate with anyone there, not knowing if his family is alive or dead.

I ask for your prayers for Mark and his family, and all who are affected by this devastation. Thank you.
Backstop - Somehow I missed your post. Do you mind sharing how your friend Tom is doing status post transplant. Transplants bring on so many emotions as we always rememeber the one that was lost and the generosity of that grieving family. I hope all involved are doing well.

Prayers for Haiti which is an unimaginable tragedy.

TMM - Hope your friend's son's surgery and recovery are going well!!
