Ty Cobb. As much as I dislike Bonds for all he has become, the more I have learned about Cobb the more I would never want my kids to be remotely like him. He was a extremely disturbed man.

Prior to the ALCS,he was already labeled a jerk by many.I think he was waiting for the ball to be rolled back out,and then run.If you watch replays you can see he clearly does that(takes a step towards hs dugout,looks back and goes)

What's the differance between what Delmon Young did and what Jose Mesa did to Omar?
One threw a bat in the direction and hit an Umpire.
One threw a ball in the direction and hit a Player.
Both on purpose.
Both Suspended.
Should one get branded for Life.
Why the other get's a couple day's off, and it's considered part of the Game?

I remember when a NY Yankee Pitcher threw at Griffey Junior, and the Very Next Pitch Griffey Junior's Bat went Sailing toward's NY pitcher's head.
Never seen Griffey Thrown at Since.

Great pitcher, but just never liked to watch him on the mound.

I lost all respect for Pedro that day.

Next thing we know, he'll be "decking" nuns in their garb!

Don Zimmer should have never came out of the dugout. Zimmer brought it upon himself, don't fault pedro, what was he supposed to do.

Carlos Zambrano just needs to learn to control his emotions. He is the type of guy you love to play for your team but hate if he is on another team.

Escobar?That bean was payback for what he did vs escobar in the last ALCS.Escobar threw him some nasty stuff,and the only way peirzynski could get one was by cheating(please dont call it heads up,he knew to wait until the ball was rolled back out)

Please explain how that is cheating. What did he do that was against the rules? You'd love him if he was an Angel.

Jose Valentine, he seems like a good person and all, but I hate his style of hitting (2004 stats 30 hrs, .216BA, .287 OBP, 139K's).

He plays the game exactly how it should be played..with tons and tons of heart..maybe a bit too much emotion but still tons of heart.

My least favorite player is Schilling. He is always "butting in" where he doesn't belong. I swear he would do an interview at a middle school in North Dakota if he thought it would get some run on Sportscenter.

I do not have any least like major leaguers--I give them all due credit to where they did and to stay for whatever time they did.

EH, while both of them were wrong in the extreme, there is a huge difference between losing your cool in the heat of the moment like Delmon Young did, and a premeditated intent to hit Vizquel like Mesa does.

Mesa has said he's going to hit him every time he faces him. That's way out of bounds, and should be dealt with severly by MLB if it continues. I'm sure you'd agree, but it might take a serious injury to Vizquel and that isn't right.

You don't throw at someone because your catcher made a stupid play.

Escobar ran his mouth in spring training...probably used up his entire vocabulary!

TP...Not sure which game you are watching.

I know we all see things from "different sets of eyes", but Zambrano, for all of his physical skills, is still an emotional teenybopper.

As much as I don't like Bonds after reading Game of Shaddows, I still have to go with A-Rod. I respect the numbers he puts up on the field, but I just don't like him. I've hated him ever since him and Varitek went at it (I'm a Red Sox fan).
