I only know about the Patriot District so there could be more by someone in another district.

He also had the Grand Slam against Thorpe in the game with Westfield. So 4 HRs and 11 RBI

Did he hit all 3 of those against Fitzgerald, McLean's ace? If so....especially impressive!

Fitzgerald, Sborz, and Buckley. Hit them off some of the best that team had.

Woodson has a line-up of sluggers.

This would be a great battle to watch in the post-season.

A lot of firepower in Virginia last year. The one game that stands out was Reilly's bombs off of McLean's Fitzgerald, Sborz, and Buckley.

Who will pitchers/coaches fear the most in 2011?

Name some Virginia sluggers that will make coaches want to walk.

Katz from O'Connell...beast

All of the above are excellent.

John Mcgillicudy- Woodson

Aaron Tovsky, T.C. Williams!

Mac Caples - James River.
Tyler Allen - Powhatan.
Luke Scherzer - Powhatan

All 3 are 2013's who batted in the 3 or 4 holes as Varsity Freshmen and will do the same for programs that are perennial state title contenders.

Didn't mean to leave anyone out, but this thread was actually a NoVa thread when it started. Not sure if it's gone statewide.

If it has, I could name several more!

We want to know about all the sluggers in Virginia. We're familiar with the ones in our region (NOVA). We find it very interesting to hear about players with bigtime offensive tools from the rest of Virginia.
