Looks great if you're from Illinois. If from somewhere else, it looks like a tough roster to crack.
The program has had some tuff goings beginning about 4 years ago due to some violations that cost them their scholarships and then subsequently had some quality players leave the program. I believe last year they finally were able began to offering some scholarships again and the penalty for the violation is almost finalized. Nice school and campus and they play in a solid DII conference. This year the conference has changed from wood bat back to aluminum. They have a new coach who was the recruiting coordinator at NIU (IMO did a heck of a job) there should give the program the boost it needed.
