What is the cost to the player?

It's short money compared to things like Top 96 and Under Armour. I think it's about $100 and it gets just as many scouts and colleges as those other showcases in this area. That fact that it's invite only makes it worthwhile for the colleges that do attend.
Now THATS a blast from the past, haha. Sorry ! No longer familiar with their workings. I never knew them to have two separate events.
Some advice from someone who has watched their son do well in school and on the diamond, limit your high school baseball showcase expenditures SIGNIFICANTLY. If you have a stud, the top schools will find him more effectively through your high school or travel team coach. A day at a showcase is hit or miss and doesn't give the player much opportunity to show their skills.
Better to select schools on the basis of where he would do well if baseball disappeared, then find out where those coaches will be and contact them in advance. The school's camp is a good idea but better would be having a track record of good play in HS and Travel to refer the coach to.
If that fails, know that there are great D3 programs where players can excel on and off the field and where walking on is likely if they have a good fall session At a position of need, which can normally be identified in a conversation with the coach at the time you are applying to schools.
