I just read all the posts in this thread and I would like you guys to all know that DevilMan isn't on the team...or atleast I don't think so. Either way, I am on the team and I can speak for our team when I say (similar to Sweaty's post) that we have a lot of respect for your team and can't wait to get it going in April. We all mark our calendars for the LT series, just as I am sure you guys do for ours (or so I hope). Unfortunately, we have to play the doubleheader at your place this year ... no food or drink, but whatever. I'm excited and I really think you guys are going to be surprised by the progress of our pitching staff. Kurash is sick and Ourada looks like an ace. See you in April.
Red Devil Bombskis.....

I appreciate your recent post, and in the manner to which you made your comments. Classy! DevilMan is a dad, not a player!! He knows to many things about LT that the players wouldn't respectfully comment about.

As for the "no food and drink", your absolutely right, we as a baseball program don't rate the usage of our $500,000.00 concession facility. It seems that football, lacrosse, s****r and track seem to win-out over baseball. Something to do with the amount of fans at games, or someother B.S. reason.

The series with our two schools has always been filled with anxiety and excitement. We have the same when we play OPRF. Great baseball on both accounts.

P.S.

I don't think we have any raccoons to worry about, just lots and lots of dust. coolgleam

Remember a couple of years ago, you tied with us for the conference championship? You had those t-shirts made-up that said, "Conference Champions"!!! I tought you had to win conference outright to claim that title! Maybe not, but it just about fits for you Hinsdale types. Wanting to claim something you couldn't win alone.

Corky and Boomer,

It was great seeing you guys again.
That 7th inning was a tough carousel.
As always LT will bounce back and congratulations to Naperville Central for never giving up.

After your game I went to the Minooka - Joilet Catholic game, now that was a merry go round. There was so much hitting and scoring. The third base coaches were getting winded from waving everyone in.
Joe Benson hit a ball that I thought was going to knock the fence down. Cerven looked nice at the plate and Trepel from Minooka hit a Home Run. Have you guys seen Joe Benson with the catchers gear on... It looks like the Hulk wearing little league gear.

Today was a terrific day... Great weather, lots of Baseball, kids having fun and being with good people.
34/33.....Smokey.....

Thanks for the comments!

Like "sweaty" said, we have a great group of kids. Like our coach says, we have a target on our backs from our success in recent years. Everyone wants to knock-off LT. You should have seen how happy Marist and Naperville Central were we they won!!!!

Personally, we haven't been hitting like we are capable of doing. But, we have a junior, Grant Filipitch and our senior first baseman, Mike Bellisario who are both batting over .500.

Yesterdays games against Glenbard West were great to watch, cold weather, but good baseball.
You can call the Naperville police dept. to find out the results of that one. It was and still is a CRIME what happened in that game. Somebody needs to step up and admit they blew it but, that won't happen. It is a team game and No one kid has to take the blame. The whole team needed to make each other accountable for that game. And if you read previous posts, they did bounce back very nicely against a very good GBW team with two hard fought victories.
