Bort is the best!!! My son and I got the opportunity to run down to Peoria (from Chicago) and catch one of Bort’s games against the Cub affiliate Chiefs while Tyler played for the Bowling Green Hot Rods last summer. We talked to Bort after the game covered in sweat and dirt – he had the biggest smile on his face – just havin’ the time of his life. Dan and family should be proud!

What a dirt-bag!!!!!! GOOD LUCK BORT – HAVE A SEASON!

Alright, I'm ticked off! I just asked Dan (ClevelandDad) in the past day or so for any updates on Tyler, and he said...

Oh how I do enjoy reading things like this about our HSBBW boys... Congrats CD, Tyler seems to really have his eye on the prize.

Tremendous reading about Tyler. It's his low key mental approach that's going to take him all the way! It's so great for him to be able to live his dream and the nice thing is that he really seems to appreciate it.

ClevelandDad, how long before he becomes a Montgomery Biscuit? I will be looking for him down here. You will need to make a trip down to Montgomery, AL and see the Biscuits park, Riverwalk Stadium. It is right on the river and built into an old train depot. It is very nice. Tell your son good luck. Go Rays!!!

I am hoping he is a Biscuit yesterday. In fact, if they want to skip him up to Durham or Tampa, I won't be upset with that either

CD - I love reading this stuff. Tyler obviously has both feet squarely beneath his shoulders. Depending on where he plays this summer, I might be in the area. If I am, I will sure try to go see him. Would love to meet him!
