Our sons allowed AParent and I to cross paths yesterday. So nice to meet you in person, what a great family you have. Our boys are both seniors Frown so the rollercoaster ride is only a couple of weeks from being over. I think both have overcome some college baseball obstacles and are to be commended for their resilence. Her team beat my team, but it didn't matter. Both boys had a great day. Her son is quite the player, I think he had 3 hits! Mine went 4-6, 2 BB, 3 run homer, double, 4 rbi. Again, very nice to meet you!

I had the pleasure of meeting a fellow Webster today too. Lafmom and her son came by Applebee’s Park in Lexington, Kentucky where the Tigers of Auburn University and the Wildcats of the University of Kentucky had a regular “cat fight” in the rubber match of the weekend series. It was nice to see a parent supporting her son and it was obvious Michael was excited about his upcoming venture into collegiate baseball. I know his mind was racing as he watched two college teams face off. He had to be thinking...Just wait ‘till next year”! Beautiful weather, nice people, and a good ball game...What else is there? Thanks Lafmom and best of luck to Michael!

It was a plesure meeting you. I have been reading and learning from this site for so many years that it was great to actually meet another member.

It was a great weekend for baseball, the weather could not be more perfect. I will admit it is a lot different watching baseball from behind the stands so I can help keep track of an active set of 2 years old while I watch. I miss out on a lot of the action, but I wouldn't trade the opportunity for the world.

It is hard to believe they are seniors already. While I always hope for post season play - I think this year it is even more important. Anything to postpone the end of another era for us.
