Albom needs to write the truth - and use the media platform he has to do the right thing.
And - given his exalted status as a "beacon of professional journalism" - he needs to state the truth in a manner that helps educate young kids about the dangers of taking PEDS.

And not in a manner that sells magazines and newspapers. And not in a manner that requires an appreciation of his subtle ridicule - in pop-quiz format.

Here is my guess - he wont do that.
That is why I feel so strongly about him - and what he wrote - and what most other journalists write about this subject matter.

Totally irresponsible - and out to sell content.

You know, I listen to Mitch Albom on the Sports Reporters on Sunday morning go at it with another pompous knucklehead Mike Lupica. I would pat Mitch on the back for being such a good reporter but I am afraid his hand would get in the way.

This is one of 18 referenced articles I found that Albom wrote for the DFP that speaks out against the use of PED's. One that I was unable to link was "The Best Role Models for Bad Behavior". This shows that Albom has a history of speaking out against the use of PED's.
