I'll be rooting on Cornell this weekend. My good friend I'm hearing will get the Game 2 start for them in the Chapel Hill Regional, so go Cornell! Hope for a miracle vs the Tar Heels in Game 1!



Hey Fenway good luck to your guys!! David and Goliath? Let us know when your son is on the bump. We are Tar Heel fans but I love a great underdog matchup. (esp since our HS just won thier underdog matchups over the weekend to win our conference.) I'll be watching!!

Thanks for your support EVERYONE. David vs Goliath analogy comes very close as we could use anything "Biblically" related at this point. I went to church twice last week just for this very occasion. Wink Carolina has been to a zilliion regionals, and this will be Cornells second. That kind of tells it all. Everybody loves the upset, so this is why we play the game.

I'm looking forward to the team dinner Thursday night, the 1pm St Johns vs ECU game, taking in the NCAA regional atmosphere and meeting some HSBBWeb folks that I know will be dropping by Chapel Hill. I'm not 100% sure what the specific rotation/lineup will be as there are a few things I'm not privy too right now. Regardless, it will be a fun weekend.

This will be a great weekend for baseball fans in the Triangle. Regionals in Raleigh and Chapel Hill and the DII World Series in Cary. I'll be watching summer college baseball instead around the Charlotte area as my son's team has started the summer season. Good Luck fenway. I'd like to see a Cornell/ECU game in the 2nd round. My younger son is a student at ECU(not a player though).

This is BASEBALL. The only certainty is that any one of the 4 very good teams in any regional can come out victorious!

So, I'm not buying any of your malarkey!

The only other "certainty" about this weekend is that I look forward to meeting Mr. and Mrs. Fenwaysouth and seeing fenwaysouth jr. pitch the baseball! (That goes for any other HSBBW posters/lurkers, as well.)
