I was leaving one of my customers office yesterday that is approx 1 mile from the new complex. I was wondering what all the commotion going on was, i.e. big tent, golf carts going back and forth, etc. and then I saw the silver shovels being carried around. Eureka!

The news initially broke some few years back with Bobby Cox's involvement revealed.
It will be interesting to see how this complex competes against ECB for hosting not only National events but Summer Travel baseball. Certainly, it will be good for Georgia amateur baseball.

I think that the new place and East Cobb will be a good compliment to each other. We played in the 14U WWBA a couple years ago and the running around the area to play at all the different HS's was a headache....plus at the older ages, having fields all over has got to cut down on the ability of scouts to see kids. By having all these fields at the new complex, PG should be able to cut down on the use of HS's....but will likely still need EC for their bigger events.
