So you don't burn out your finger.

You may already have this, so I've saved the receipt and can exchange it for something else......

A hope that 2009 is a good one for you and Playbaseball and all your young'ns.

Thanks for the gifts Krak...I know you put a lot of thought into them.

And thanks for the well wishes for '09. We wish the best to you and your family for '09 as well.

I am very happy to announce that '09 should be much better than '08 at the gotwood house. Last week I was given the opportunity to work as an outside salesman for a retail lumberyard that has been around the NW side of Chicago for nearly eighty years.

Given this sour, sour economy it will be a really tough job to get back to where our family needs to be, but I can not tell you how grateful I am to the old school lumber guys who own this lumberyard. They have provided our family with the best imaginable Christmas gift...an opportunity to succeed!

So anyone reading this who needs some excellent quality construction material and service coupled with a wacky salesman please give us a call. Our 6.5 acre lumberyard is located at the Kennedy/Edens junction. I don't want to advertise, but I'll give you a hint...we May be a Fair place to buy great Lumber! Wink

Thanks again Krak.

Woodman,

That is terrific news! And I don't care if we aren't supposed to advertise in our posts, this is an exception. Smile

ANYONE WHO NEEDS CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS IN THE CHICAGO AREA...

Who ya gonna call?

Call our Woodman!

Seriously, I have talked with Michael on the phone and it will be the most enjoyable meeting with a salesman that you could ever hope for!

Contact Woody for all your construction materials needs!

Thanks again Krak...given your post I think you could use this...

...use it for filling those 99 red balloons-not for doing Disney© character voice impersonations!

.
And Mom...thank you for bending the rules a smidge. It's appreciated!

Since you have tooted my horn I think it is best that I keep a good thing going and present you with this gift...

...please turn it up to eleven-it's a long way to Chicago from the "Al Franken for Senate NOW!" HQ! Wink

Oh what the heck, it's only money......I have just purchased this section of coast on Bora Bora for all HSBBWebsters, for Christmas. I'm hosting a New Year's Eve party in my cabana, center pier, third from the end, left side.

MN-Mom, I've thrown in one of these for you, since you have worked so hard and have been on the 'Nice' list all year....

Hey PG, 20dad, 44, and infidel! Thank you so much for your well wishes. They're really appreciated.

The true spirit of Christmas is abundant...it is going to be a wonderful Christmas here at the gotwood house!

Hope and opportunity is right 44...you just don't know how cherished they are until they're off on the distant horizon or beyond. It's really nice having them snuggled up next to you!

God bless all of you and Merry Christmas to all!

Au contraire, that would be a Christmas present to ME!!!!!! Thank you so much!!!! When can he leave?????

Joyeux Noel!

(Not sure why I'm feeling so "French" this morning!) I mean Buon Natale!!

This REALLY cracked me up. First the fact you're trying to ship him off. Even though I get it, it still cracked me up. Then the French. For some reason, the image of Gomez & Morticia Admas (as in The Adams Family) popped into my head.
