I am very happy to announce that '09 should be much better than '08 at the gotwood house. Last week I was given the opportunity to work as an outside salesman for a retail lumberyard that has been around the NW side of Chicago for nearly eighty years.

Given this sour, sour economy it will be a really tough job to get back to where our family needs to be, but I can not tell you how grateful I am to the old school lumber guys who own this lumberyard. They have provided our family with the best imaginable Christmas gift...an opportunity to succeed!

So anyone reading this who needs some excellent quality construction material and service coupled with a wacky salesman please give us a call. Our 6.5 acre lumberyard is located at the Kennedy/Edens junction. I don't want to advertise, but I'll give you a hint...we May be a Fair place to buy great Lumber!

They could build / fix anything except for the boat. Then again if they fixed the boat then the series would have been much shorter.
