Madison 10 TJ 0 in 5 innings. Matt Favero and Pete Nielsen combined for the no hitter.
OHS @ LB moved up from Saturday to Friday, 6:30PM.
Chantilly over Yorktown 4-0 in a rain-shortened game tonight. Forrest Wagner (Jr.) started the game by striking out the side and went on to pitch 4 shut-out innings for the win.
PVI over O'Connell 27-4. PVI has won last three games by combined score of 44-4. They have a DH coming up vs. West Potomac and Marshall.
FWIW: game I'd pay to see would be Madison vs. St. Johns

St. Johns at LB in April, $5 at the gate. LB has scheduled St. Johns for the last 4 years. Always well played, competitive games. Not many NOVA teams schedule WCAC teams.
Oakton vs. PVI is a natural. Don't know why that isn't a scheduled game.
Osbourn Park over Centreville 7-5 last night.

Indeed, though I was informed that the Chantilly games are now scheduled at 2pm & 5pm.
PVI over Marshall 1-0
Marshall vs West Potomac DNK
PVI over West Potomac 12-0 in 5 innings. Robert Riddick and Michael Cortiz combined for the no-no. Last I saw WP had committed 7 errors over 4 innings. I think their game ended around 9, and it was in the low 30s, if not 30, at that point.
Robinson went down to Myrtle Beach for a tourney, first game Monday vs. IMG Academy. Other NOVA team in the Mingo Bay Classic: Madison, Battlefield, Forest Park, South County, West Springfield, Falls Church.
It looks like Saturday's games for the Bulldogs/Titans tournament will be played at 11am tomorrow, which explains why the Chantilly games were pushed back.

Does anyone know if Connor (OHS pitcher) pitched in any of these games and how he did. I know he's been working on his velo over the winter.
Thanks in advance!

He just finished up 4 innings of work vs. SB: 40 pitches, 1 hit, 0 runs, 2Ks, no walks. And was 3 for 3 at the plate. Throwing far harder than last year. Hard work is paying off.
Oakton 15 Stone Bridge 5 (6 innings). See post above for Connor Jones' line. Cooper Mitchell: 3 for 5 with a HR, triple and 4 RBIs. Joe Rizzo: 3 for 3 with a GS, 2 Dbls, 5 RBIs.

Have seen Toma in action several times, when his control is there he can give batters fits.
Madison beats Battlefield by a score of 10-1. Pete Nielson('16) throws a 1 hit complete game on only 83 pitches and strikes out 9. Madison scored 6 in the 4th, 1 in the 5th and 2 in the 6th to break the game wide open. They'll now face Narbonne HS, California in the finals.
Madison @ Oakton next Saturday. That RF porch may see some action.
Nick Eilerson discussed some of the standout baseball teams/players in NoVA. You can watch it below (talk starts around the 13 minute mark). Too bad they had to cut off Nick because they ran out of time.
At Mingo Bay, Madison on the losing end vs. Narbonne (CA), 4-2. Narbone, behind late in the game, came back with 3 in the bot 5. Madison gave up only 4 hits.
It looks like the myriad of games over spring break were reflected in some of the reshuffling in the latest NoVA Baseball Magazine's rankings released this week. Below are the latest rankings and how they compared with last week.
- Madison (no change from last week)
- Battlefield (no change from last week)
- Oakton (ranked 8th last week)
- Lake Braddock (ranked 3rd last week)
- Stone Bridge (ranked 4th last week)
- PVI (no change from last week)
- Centreville (not ranked last week)
- Chantilly (ranked 5th last week)
- West Springfield (ranked 7th last week)
- Patriot (ranked 9th last week)
I believe Fairfax fell from the top ten last week.
Chantilly over Osbourn Park 6-2 tonight.
Current Top 10 Records: (#1- 5) #1 @BaseballMadison 7-1 #2 Battlefield 7-2 #3 @Oakton_Cougars 4-0 #4 @Bruin_Nation 7-1 #5 @SB_Baseball 4-1

Surprised by the close Madison/SL game, and the gap in the LB/WSHS game:
