AP signed a $100 million, 7 year contract with the Cards two years ago. While he continues being Albert, I can't see the Cards having any interest in trading him.
Didnt they just build a new stadium for him !!!!
If healthy, Albert will go down as one of the greatest hitters of all time, Check out his walk to strikeout ratio's. Some of the very best old time hitters had similar numbers.
Thank the Lord that St. Louis has always paid and kept their stars. Pujols wll never be a UGH! Yankee.

Talking about Roids. When do they retest Giambi? What an amazing recovery!
Coach Ric
Remember his intestinal virus which he and a few other Yankees had from the Japan trip--

Your right there TR. But he was a Roider and not many Yankees get tested, at least not that we hear about in the press. Of course my bias lives in Boston, so I can't help myself.
I still want to see it across the board--not just individuals who are "selected"
Your right, Tr. I would also like to see the results posted on mlb.com, but I don't know if the union would go for that.
Not quite Coachric. About ST Louis always paying to keep their stars. Renteria's looking pretty good this year in Atlanta.
.....which goes to make up for how cr*ppy he looked in Boston last year. He wanted $7 million. Paying for your players and overpaying for your players are, indeed, two different things (as I was saying to Steinbrenner only the other day )
Interesting that Pujols said:
"....people have been "too hard" on Bonds....
"I know he's probably made some mistakes in the past, but come on, give the guy a break," Pujols said. "Respect the numbers in the career he has put up."
Pujols feels like he's under suspicion, too, because people dont' really believe he's really 26.

Renteria was not a good fit in Boston. I figured he'd get real comfortable back in the NL in a more laid back environment.
