If you are doing a national HA search, the Headfirst, Showball, etc. plus school camps should do it.

What are his target schools? Essentially, we need to know what "pond you are fishing in", and if your son has what those coaches are looking for. I agree with @anotherparent that Headfirst and others like it do a pretty good job IF your son is looking at mostly D3 schools that recruit nationally for academics + athletics. The more elite the academics and athletics the more difficult it is for the coach to recruit based on what Admissions will allow.
If your son is in a different category (D1), I would probably be taking my money and time elsewhere.

PS...It isn't very hard to find posters on here that took the HA Showcase and specifically targeted camps approach. My son did, and it was a very successful strategy for him. Did your son make some personal connections with coaches at HeadFirst last year? Is he still in touch with any of them now? What are they telling you? Is there a need to go any other HA Showcases as it typically is the same suspects taking more of your money. As you know these showcases aren't cheap.
