1. Hitter hits double to right. Called out for using composite bat. Who gets credit for the out?
2. Runner at 1b takes off when P comes set. By the time fielders finally tell pitcher "He's going!" he steps off and throws to 2b, but the runner beats the throw. SB? Doesn't this hurt the Catcher's %? How fair is that? Same question if P picks runner off at first and he just takes off, First baseman throws to 2b, but runner beats the throw cleanly. SB on C's record?
3. C throws a laser to 2b to get runner. Great throw. 2b and SS are late coming over and throw goes to center. SB and E on catcher? Again, seems somewhat unfair.
4 Hitter K's on low pitch that scoots past catcher all the way to long backstop. Hitter will definitely get 1b, but then the catcher can't find the ball because of long grass, so hitter goes all the way to 2b. K, PB and error on C? Or just K and (two base) PB?
All of these happened in a DH today. Not all by one team, it was some back and forth bad play.....
