Pitchers in the Eastern Region

That word that got ***** is supposed to be peninsula. Guess I mispelled it and some auto program ***** it out

Jason taylor i believe his name is from kellam.will hirsh from nasemond river.

I didn't realize taylor was a pitcher...I have seen Hirsch and feel he might have been the best pitcher I saw this fall. I believe he's going to Ga. Tech.

In no particular order this is my opinion.

Hirsch NR
Ray Kellam
Ramirez Kemps
Woods PA
?????

Those 4 are going to be dominant, not real sure about the peninsula

Yeah his name is Sean Ray. Jason Taylor will play short for Kellam this year.

Gary Bulman and David Hewitt of Greenbrier Christian have to be on that list.

Technically, Bulman and Hewitt don't fall into this category. They do not pitch in the Eastern Region. Private schools are there own entity, and therefore can not be included on this list.

I have no resentment at all. Simply stated, private schools are not part of the Eastern Region. I wish both Hewitt and Bulman well, they are both great pitchers and if there were a thread that wanted the top five private school pitchers they would both be on it.

I agree, if you say in the Tidewater area. I would definately add Bulman to the list to complete my top 5.

Sorry Bear, the Woods I was refering to is Zack Woods (06) and is currently playing at PA HS and has committed to ECU for next season.

In my opinion these 5 are head and shoulders above the rest. Ramirez is #1 and after him it could go in any order. I'll take anyone of them on my team.

FROM WHAT I SEE AND HAVE HEARD THE PENINSULA ONLY HAS 3 QUALITY PITCHERS, WATKINS RHP(MENCHVILLE), GALLAWAY RHP(BETHEL) AND ROTH LHP(DENBUGH).WATKINS AND GALLAWAY ARE SENIORS AND ROTH IS A JUNIOR. SSBR, I'm assuming your referring to Ameroso. I know he hasn't been tested in the district but he has impressive credentials. He is listed as #182 on Baseball America's Prospect Plus top 300 list of '07 graduates and on that list he is #21 for LHP. He also plays in the summer and fall for Impact Baseball's Dirtbags as a starting pitcher and a position player. I don't know if you know anything about Impact Baseball but they are one of the top summer and fall teams in the country. They already have five '07 grads. that have all verbally committed to to play for ACC schools

I to believe that Greg will do a great job for Cox and in the Beach District. But before it's all said and done, IMO Andy Berry at FC will make his way in the top 5 of this group.

I NEVER SAID IT WAS GREG BUT I DO THINK HE WILL HAVE A GOOD YEAR. ANDY THROWS WELL BUT THERE ARE ALOT OF GOOD PITCHERS IN THIS REGION AND TO RANK THEM IS ONLY FEEDING SOMEONES EGO. I THINK WE, THE REGION, ARE AS GOOD A RECRUITING AREA AS THERE IS IN THE COUNTRY AND THERE WILL BE ALOT OF PLAYERS GOING TO SOME EXCELLENT D-1 PROGRAMS.
