So I am not sure if your list excludes privates in Tidewater or not. If it does not, then I would add Morey 07 and Levitt 07 from Cape Henry. Either could dominate in the publics. IMHO.
impartialbut, I agree Morey is a very good pitcher but I must disagree with you on Levitt there are far many other pitchers in the area that are ahead of Levitt. Dominate, there isn't any pitcher in the area that is dominate, there are a number of pitchers that can be dominate on any particular day but in my opinion there isn't a pitcher in the area that will be dominate every game.
SSBR, it's Dirtbags not Dirt Devils. I think your thinking about a vacuum cleaner. LOL

Andy Berry pitches NO HITTER yesterday for FC.
90plus, you are of course entitled to your opinion, however it is arrived at. Even though it means very little at the very begining of the season, both of those guys pitched last night. Morey gave up 4 runs in two innings, Levitt gave up none in 3 innings, stuck out 7 for the win. Levitt did get invited to play for the Tidewater WhiteSox showcase team this past fall, but the proof will be in the pudding, won't it?
impartialbut, like I said Morey is a very good pitcher and and rates up there with the best Levitt is a quality pitcher but he doesn't rate with the top pitchers in the area. In my opinion neither would be dominate in the Beach district. Booker T probobly would be a good JV team in the Beach district
Like I said, my good fellow, time will tell.
Amorosso is going to be fine. I've caught him for two years and he has some nasty pitches. He will do great things in his last two years at Cox.
I agree. I can remember first seeing Greg Amoroso pitch on the VA Heat AAU team it must be 4 or 5 years ago and he was good back then. He and Pete Levitt go to the same pitching instructor and he has done great things with them both. He has a really great curve ball and his FB is very good. Plus, Greg is just a really good kid!

i am surprised Ian Lenda of Great Bridge or Weisner of Deep Creek haven't been mentioned yet. Both are proven winners and isn't that what it's about?
Billy, you are right....both are good pitchers....I took Ian with me on my Palomino Team and he did a good job....and if I would have had room, I would have ask Alex too.....I believe both of them will be battling for tops in the Southeastern District!
Sorry, there was a team out of Richmond a few years back that were the Dirt Devils. I have seen the Dirt Bags.

Do you mean the Devil Dogs? They play out of Richmond, named after the Marines.
The dirtbags are a hand selected "showcase" team out of North Carlonia. Mostly NC players , but a few from VA. They are connected to IMPACT baseball, a local NC orginization similar to Perfect Game in that they hold showcases and tournaments to expose the best young players to college and pro scouts.
