Predictions In 8-5A

I'm sure he has thicker skin than that -- give him some credit. My guess is that he is trying to prepare for a successful season at Timberview. The Katy, Rockwall (past & present), and other area coaches have been quiet as well. They have other priorities.

Cedar Hill over Bowie 2-1.

All 3 runs in the game were from errors. Cedar Hill's pitcher gave up just three hits to hold Bowie for the complete game.

is it possible to have a "must win" game in game 4 of district. Looks like it wil be for Lamar come this Friday.

Looks like pitching depth is still a serious problem with them when the Friday starter is also being asked to be a middle releiver on Tuesday's.

Can Lamar get this ship back on course?

Time to compare my predictions with how things are shaping up. The first two are okay with Martin and Duncanville but from 3 on down I was way off. I guess that is why the games are played on the field. I must give Arlington and Cedar Hill credit for the way they have played this season. Very impressive.

This is from the DMN web-site but im not sure it's correct. I feel for whoever plays Arlington High (if they make it) in the 1st round because they are playing great baseball right now.

it's a good thing the martin hitters aren't at lamar. the coach would have tried to change their swings and convince them they were not hitters.

So can I ask the obvious question, why do some teams have 2 more games on their records than others? I'm more concerned on how/when they'll be making up the games if indeed they haven't been played.

Dtiger I believe the list should look more like this but I could be wrong, the above list was copied from the DMN web-site.

Duncanville plays Arlington tonight (i think) that brings everyone to 12 games.

Dtiger it looks like if Cedar Hill beats us and Duncanville wins out we could end up playing you guys in a few weeks.

Martin, Duncanvill are in. Pretty sure Cedar Hill is in as well. Arlington is in with a win Tuesday over Lamar or a Friday win against Sam which should happen. Lamar has to beat Arlington and Martin and must hope Arlington gets beat on Friday which would put Arlington in a tie with Lamar. Then I don't know if it is a playoff game or coin flip.

Lamar Fan 08 - Cedar Hill has to play Martin and Duncanville. Not an easy task for them this week.

How did Lamar do vs Cedar Hill and Bowie?

if cedar hill loses their last two and lamar wins their last two and if sam beats arlington then there is a three way tie for fourth. (and if a frog had wings...)

i would go out on a limb and say its martin, duncanville, arlington. if lamar beats either arlington or martin and cedar hill loses their last two then there is a tie for fourth.

going further out on the limb i say its cedar hill in fourth.

Lamar has 2 losses to Cedar Hill - not good. Split with Bowie.

Lamar is a huge long shot at best. I don't think it will happen. I guess in baseball you never know. If Sam throws Blanton at Arlington, then they will be in the game most likely.

Lamar losing 2 times to Cedar Hill is why I put Cedar Hill in most likely.

Martin will carry the 8-5A banner. The rest of the teams will be eliminated early.

time to re-examine my prediction. overestimated desoto and underestimate arlington high a little. prediction on lamar pretty close though.

don't you play lamar this week? not sure i would call that one tough.

Martin plays Lamar on Friday and because all these boys know eah other and most have played with each other during the summer it's always a tough game when they play.
