I know this is not where this belongs but props out to my oldest son. 11 months since graduating cooking school in NYC and going to work in the kitchen of one of the best chefs in America. He started washing lettuce, then: making small salads - large salads - cold appetizers - hot appetizers - amd I just got a tm that he was moved to the "hot line" tonight. For the layman, he's actually cooking an entree. TM made some reference to "about to ***t my pants. He was blind side tackle and knew pressure on pass plays to the right. But this is the "bigs." Proud of you Peej.
Thanks, board, for your indulgance.
Get the lead off guy and you're half way through the inning.

Thanks. I totally forgot about that commercial. Could have been written about him. (with small exception that he turned down DIII "Leadership Scolly" to play at Rhodes.
Wanted to go to Bama, paint his body crimson and yell his butt of for the beloved Tide. And he did it.
This is funny because 5 min ago while as I finished watching Iron Chef America I was thinking if I could do it all over the culinary field would be a great area to practice and compete against others with the same passion. Congrats and good luck to your son in such a competitive field!

As long as were on "the other kids" accomplishments my twin daughters told me tonight they are headed to China in October to water ski as part of a USA team. I went to Canada once Cool, a whole 250 miles away............

Congrats to your son.
Sometimes we tend to forget that we don't just produce ballplayers.

My oldest is one of those who never went to college, yet has a great career and does better than many of her HS classmates.

She actually has gotten where she is because she speaks and expresses herself well, her spelling is ok, she relies on spell checker so I am not worried about her at all! Wink
