Has anyone heard about Albert Pujols requiring Tommy Johns Surgery? I believe I heard it on XM Radio Home Plate today. I have not heard of a non pitcher requiring this surgery before.

This would be a real shame. I hope it is not true. But plenty of non-pitchers have TJ.
I was reading online for my fantasy baseball league and the website said that if his elbow flared up again like it did last year he was going to shut it down for the year. Idk about Tommy John surgery but he won't play through the pain like he did last year.
Right now he states his elbow is fine, however I hear the Cardinals are looking at Dimitri Young in case something should happen.
