Look at the glass half full.....There will be 4 of the strongest teams around representing your 7/8-5A districts. Your districts have had solid teams to play against all year to help get the players prepared for playoffs. Hard work and great competition makes these Young Men better. Consider them to be fortunate.

There's another way to look at it...in the second round there should be 8 of the strongest teams still alive but instead there will only be 4.

Making 7-5A & 8-5A square off in the first round is a big break for everybody else.

But, I think there will still be 4 teams from 7/8 5a left after round 2.

JMHO

Um...there will be exactly 4 left. I'd put money on it.

What are you looking to wager?

One million dollars! You looked at the bracket yet?

Go ahead and bet your million bucks though. Hope you don't lose it

Well, it appears my prediction will come up short.
Only 3 left from 7-5A and 8-5A.

Plano East advances over Colleyville Heritage
Southlake advances over Grapevine
Flower Mound advances over Mansfield
Appears LD Bell took care of Plano.

There's your "it's baseball" and anything can happen. Especially with one game, winner takes all games. Wink
