That seems a little harsh and if that is how what I posted was added to what others posted needed up sounding then I am sorry. Our hope is that good baseball men like you might start to alter the way they manage our boys who pitch.
Ironhorse..did you have a little to much iron in your diet last night. This post and the post you just made on "Pitch Counts" seem a little pointed.
If this is getting personal and to much to handle maybe it is time for you to get out.
Please remember regardless of how much you are concerned with their safety we as their parents have a much higher level of concern.
Please listen closely and maybe you won't look at us as bitter parents. I am not bitter and my instructions to my son last night before he went to be the starting pitcher in his first 5A District game was , have fun, be the pitcher you know you are and rememebr have fun.
Each and every parent put a lot of time, energy, and love into each one of those 80 players you get to run through your Program. Every one of us deserve ....make that earned the right to have your respect...even if they are the bitter parents that make your professional life difficult.
Regardless of how little baseball knowledge they have even in forum like HSBW.
In the end let's remember we are all sinners in need of Grace and then on Sunday let's celebrate that the tomb was in fact empty.

We should celebrate that fact daily!

Two of your best points yet. Without the sacrifice the parents make to get these kids ready, it would be hard for a coach to amount to much.
More importantly, whether any of us win or lose tonight, it's the day the stone was rolled into place 2000-some-odd years ago when our fate was still in question in man's eyes. On that Sunday they realized there was no question.
I like your thinking IRon
Where did you play highschool or college or pro?

High school and small college. I actually learned more from my high school coaches, but I was in a pretty good program.

It just amazes me that all this knowledge is here with nobody to claim it.
Certainly entertaining yet lacking substance in my opinion regards,

Most people (myself included) don't need the self gratification of exposing ourselves (and the backlash of personal attacks) to the entire internet world just to feel better about ourselves. I have included a small profile of my experiences...
am a dynamic figure, often seen mexican snowboarding behind my truck at 70mph. I have been known to use whiskey as mouthwash, crash rave party's at 2:00am, sleep with one eye open, and eat grizzly bears for breakfast . I have raced in supercross and placed in nationals. I translate ethnic slurs for Cuban refugees, I write award-winning operas, I manage time efficiently without hesitation. Occasionally, I tread water for three days in a row, only stopping to brush my teeth. I have partyed at cocobongo and walked away only to remorse in not having been kicked out. I have swam with sharks. I woo women with my sensuous and godlike trumpet playing, I can pilot bicycles down severe inclines with unflagging speed, and I cook Thirty-Minute Brownies in twenty minutes. I am an expert in stucco, a veteran in love, and an outlaw in Peru. I have communicated with baboons and misunderstand deaf mutes. Stingrays are attracted to me. Using only a hoe and a large glass of water, I once single-handedly defended a small village in the Amazon Basin from a horde of ferocious army ants. I dont know martail arts But,I am 180 lbs of pure whooop-*** ,because i do know tasmanian devil crazy! I play bluegrass cello, I was scouted by the padres, I am the subject of numerous documentaries. When I'm bored, I build large suspension bridges in my yard. I enjoy urban hang gliding. On Wednesdays, after school, I repair electrical appliances free of charge. I am a expert marksman,a master welder,an abstract artist, a concrete analyst, and a ruthless bookie. Critics worldwide swoon over my original line of corduroy evening wear. I don't perspire. yet i sweat when sitting still, I have cleared saddlebacks bonzia hill only to case the triples, I am a private citizen, yet I receive fan mail. I have been caller number nine and have won the weekend passes. Last summer I toured Florida with a traveling wakeboard demonstration. I batted .472. and have struck-out 3 MVPs consecutively. My deft floral arrangements have earned me fame in international botany circles. Children trust me. Grandparents envy me. I have chased tornado's and run from hurricanes. I can hurl tennis rackets at small moving objects with deadly accuracy. I once read Paradise Lost, Moby Dick, and David Copperfield in one day and still had time to refurbish an entire dining room that evening. I know the exact location of every food item in the supermarket. I have performed several covert operations for the CIA. I sleep once a week; when I do sleep, I sleep in a chair. While on vacation in Canada, I successfully negotiated with a group of terrorists who had seized a small bakery. The laws of physics do not apply to me. I balance, I weave, I dodge, I frolic, and my bills are all paid. On weekends, to let off steam, I participate in full-contact origami. Years ago I discovered the meaning of life but forgot to write it down. I have made extraordinary four course meals using only a mouli and a toaster oven. I breed prizewinning clams. I have won bullfights in San Juan, cliff-diving competitions in Sri Lanka, and spelling bees at the Kremlin. I have played Hamlet, I have performed open-heart surgery, and I have spoken with Elvis. But I have not yet finished college.
Ken, if you Honestly are interested in me or my experience give me a call

Actually, not that interested. But thanks for showing some validity with a factual piece of information if in fact that is your cell number.

First of all what's not to understand? Haven't you been reading your own posts. Everyone else on here understands the post.
As for you're not "actually that interested" then why bring it up and continue to hammer at it?
Must be trolling for controversy. Geez, some people. lmao
One question Gut...... Do MLB Bully catchers exchange jerseys with other MLB Bullys after a series?

I never gave my jersey to anyone but the clubhouse kids. They were in charge of getting them to the next city.
Coarse, I tipped $25 a day with big league meal money being $87 a day.
Nice work if you can get it. What a cush job!
