Because you make claims that can't be backed up. Your guys don't get injured because your guys don't play in the pros.
MTS,
“Your guys don't get injured because your guys don't play in the pros.”
That’s a bold statement, that’s like saying armatures never injure themselves?

Boy go away for the weekend and this thread continues to have a life of it's own. I agree with TPM lets try to keep it from getting too personal.
Actually Brilliant Mind has some very interesting points regarding training for pitchers. I have worked with a sprint coach over the past year and when his guys get back from their "cross country" season they are indeed slower in their sprint times than before their season. Sprinter however only need to train for maybe 5 races in a day so their endurance requirements would seem less than a pitcher. A pitcher in effect is "sprinting", or at least coming out of the block say 150-175 times per game. (including warm ups)
So I am curious what you (BM) would consider the best leg training program for a pitcher? It seems to me it needs to have an endurance component and a speed component.

The topic is "running after pitching" is it not?
We are not talking conditioning here---we are talking the "cooldown" period.
Anyone can quote huge words and terms form the internet now can't they, Brilliant Mind?--I ask again you say you are an umpire--fine and dandy by ut what is your other background to be spewing "info" such as you do

Wasn't the topic originally about running after pitching?
