Sad indeed......
hard to imagine the parents sorrow....
This is a horrible story. Oh my God. So sad.
That's horrible... very sad
My son's high school team had a lead catcher who lost his older brother to this very type of incident (although he was playing ball at the time).
The catcher was an excellent athlete, and his parents were always the leaders of the BB booster club. Even had a reporting tower built at the field in honor of their lost son. It just always amazed me the courage they showed in allowing their younger son to continue to play, and in supporting the team and the game in the way that they did.

there are more than enough things for a parent to worry over, you would never think of this. my heart goes out to the family.
My heart and prayers go out to the family. I can only imagine the pain they are dealing with. May God bless them.
Very sad. I know a man that lost his teenage daughter because she was hit in the chest with a tennis ball when she wasn't looking.
