Showcase League Updates

The threat of weather didn't stop our games from getting off without a hitch this weekend at St. Joseph's and Colby-Sawyer. 12 Showcase League Baseball teams and 4 Showcase League softball teams were in action.

New Hampshire teams were off to a hot start with wins by Black, Purple, and defending New England Fall Classic Champions Green.

Western Mass Orange picked up a win over Maine Red in their first ever SL game. Also in their first SL game Team Vermont suffered a 3-2 defeat at the hands of Lowell Area Navy.

Next week we head to Keene State, University of Southern Maine, and Southern New Hampshire University.

Wellllll, almost without a hitch. The RI players' first obligation was to getting their families' properties ready for Irene. I know they all really would have liked to be at St. Joe's.
