I see a lot of posts asking about showcases and then the poster saying they are close and easily accessible

That does not necessarily make them "good" for you--use "due diligence" in choosing the events you want to attend--two that cost a bit more may serve you better than 6 in the "neighborhood" that are cheaper

Great advice Tr, and add that folks should come here often and ask around about these other tournaments and showcases before jumping in.
