let's just say we havent been as good as we should be. We're 16-12-1 right now and in 3rd place in conference.

You guys should feel good about yourselves . You beat a good team in New Trier who will be one of the favorites to win your sectional . Niles North will have just as good of chance as anyone .

believe me, there are no words to describe how awesome it was to beat New Trier, especially since we scored 4 runs in the bottom of the 7th and i was in line for the loss. But we have not lived up to our expectations. Our senior class is used to winning and we expect to be winning. There are a bunch of games that we thought got away from us and we could easily have 20-22 wins right now. We have games a loss to Maine East that was embrassing, a tie with hersey that should have been a win if it wasn't for an incompotent umpire, and games vs. good teams like GBN, Loyola, and Notre Dame that got away from us and we could have easily won. Thats all I meant by that. Levy is doing alright. Hes prolly around 270-280 which is solid for a freshmen and he has an absolute cannon behind the plate. Also, I like Spiro and I think I will enjoy it as well

This is a minor point, but while I don't have the exact numbers, the coaches informed Levy on Satuday he is well over .300. As expected, it took him a few weeks at the begining to adjust, but now he is hitting consistently and is tied for the team record in triples.

Congratulations to josh.

It must be exciting for him to not only be a freshman on the varsity but to also be a major contributor for the team . The future looks bright for Levy.

He will be going to Depauw University in Indiana from what I heard.

Congratulations to Ty Legan of Oak Park River Forest H.S. on his baseball scholarship to the University of Evansville. Evansville was ranked #19 nationally this year. It was also announced today that their head coach Dave Schrage has accepted the head coaching position at the Univ. of Notre Dame. Ty signed with Evansville about 3 weeks ago.

So Parkland is bringing in both Birks from LT and Pisarczyk??? Two of the best catchers in the state together? Hm.
