Your son will be going into his junior year so this is an important one for the draft, don't worry about the innings, they will adjust them according to his spring. In most cases, if he starts, he may relieve, or vice versa.
He should ask his coach to place him, if not make the call.
TPM, thank you for the good advice. Son is looking into a local college league and they play just down the road. It fits his schedule and still gives him plenty of downtime. This was one of his coach's questions after fall ball, are you playing summer ball. HC thought it was important so Pop Up took his advice.

The best way to get in a desired league is thru referal. As your son is talking to schools, ask about summer league and tell them you're looking for a spot, they may help you out with a referral. My son actually got a spot on a summer team via a coach that was recruiting him at his JC in the spring.
