My son who plays for D3 school in PA is searching for a summer collegiate ball team. Any suggestions on where he can find a search portal for teams still looking to fill the roster?

Has he asked his college coach?
Yes. The two leagues he suggested do not have room on the roster.
Was waiting for someone with more northeast experience to chime in.
Here's a recent post on the same topic, somewhat different circumstances:

Note that everyone says, ask the coach. Perhaps your son should mention that there was no room on the rosters?
Here's a list of summer leagues: https://www.thebaseballobserve...r-collegiate-leagues, although some of the links are out of date. It lists 88 leagues of all sorts, from Cape Cod to expensive pay-to-play. There are local leagues not on this list also - google the state you want, and "summer collegiate baseball".
Pick a league, look at some team rosters, see where their players are from. Without a coach recommendation, you're more likely to have to pay. Also know that many teams are short of players at the beginning and/or end of the summer, so short-term contracts are very much a thing.
THank You! This is really helpful.
If you’re in the Philadelphia area and can’t find a college league look into the Perky or DelCo leagues.
Thanks for the message but we live in Western PA
Dairyland League in Wisconsin is good. Lots of D3 players but also JUCO and D2 guys too. But that’s a long ways from PA. They do have host families
Have you looked into the ACBL? They are mainly NJ and NY. I do not know if they do housing though.
www.nycbl.com New York Collegiate Baseball League may be an option. Have player talk to his coach and call on his behalf. NECBL would be a level above: New England Coastal Baseball League. The Futures League is inbetween both of them....I think.
Good luck
@jme853, is your son looking for a local team or looking to go away? where in PA are you located?
Most of these sites list a commissioner. That person might be able to put you touch with teams who need players. If no luck there, you can find the team owner/GM on most of these websites and contact individual teams. I don't have firsthand information about all of these leagues, but they all have D3 kids. Some will offer housing and some won't. You may have friends or family near some of the teams who would be willing to take your son in for the summer. good luck.

Thank you everyone for all your helpful messages, leads and suggestions. He will work on them tonight.
NYCBL requires a payment to participate but they will provide the host family and meals. The fees for last year was $1500.00
