Thats ok, I understand. I finally understand what this is all about and unforunately it isn't about the kids like most people would like to claim. I recently found this out about a certain scouting service as well. I just think it is pretty sad when adults get involved and use kids to promote their wares or ideals. Not every program is like that.
This showcase isn't about inviting the 60 best kids at all, that has become crystal clear. I would just like to propose that adults start acting like it and start getting along for the benefit of the kids, all the kids. I don't care who you support or what program you are from. Don't get me wrong, I think a showcase of this magnitude is awesome, kudos to you for putting it on. At least you aren't trying to sock families for $500 in the name of exposure. Amazing that you can get this showcase done for no cost to the kids and yet a scouting service has to charge $500 for their's.
Again, if you want to call it the Super 60 at least do the kids that have worked the most or have the most talent a favor and invite them. When you don't do that how can you be cosidered credible? Even the village idiot can understand that. Yes, I am looking in the mirror. I'm probably getting the same scouting report as you and you are right, it isn't worth the hassle and I have never flipped through the pages of your publication. Have heard enough from people in the know and very reliable sources that know what its about.
I'm done on this issue. Good Luck to all the kids tomorrow no matter which place they show up.
