Switching Schools After a Year

So lets say I go to a 4year this year, take a redshirt and decide I want to do Junior College, will I still be required to sit out a year or since I redshirted I can transfer as I please???

By the way, I think baseball is the most unique sport with signing out of high school and the previous draft and follow years, I dont really like the idea of it having similar rules to football and basketball!
