My post wasn't directed at anyone. My post was what it was. Which wasn't at any coach. Look at all the post on here about "Team" or "Individual" in this thread alone. My point about BB is that he can do BOTH and its ashamed that HE had to decide to do just one.
For example, last year, Jay Bruce went to AC with a bad back. He tried to play but couldn't. But all the scouts and coaches got to see him and meet him and get to know him and he met alot of players from every where that became friends. There is more to gain than just playing. Maybe he couldn't have pitched in AC but Im sure he could have thrown a Bullpen between starts for his summer team.
There are many reasons he made the choice he made. But none are good enough NOT to attend both.
If you feel compelled to be defensive then Im sorry. It was not pointed at anyone. Just a shame he will not get to experience the environment of the AC games in Long Beach. maybe he is going to AFLAC.

Everybody needs to step back and not be so sensitive. Also, let's refrain from mentioning kids by name in these kind of discussions. These are teenage kids and they don't need their name bandied about in negative tones with respect to their own or their parents decisions.
