Glad to announce that for us, the patience has paid off. The ride is over, and we can relax and enjoy the season.

Son will be attending his dream school ~

may all of you find the "right fit" for you and your son! Enjoy the journey and have faith that good things come to those that wait!
"How bad do you want it? How bad do you need it? Are you eating, sleeping, dreaming with that one thing on your mind? How bad do you want it? How bad do you need it? Cause if you want it all You've got to lay it all out on the line" ~ performed by Tim McGraw written by Jim Collins/Bill Luther

I believe my one and only 06 has found and accepted his dream school also.
It's been a long and sometime's frustating road.
But with Patience, and a lot of hard work on my Son's part.
He will be able to play beyond HS.

What I should have said, was the uncertainity of recruiting ride was over. And really, agree not over, just switching cars, so to speak.

It does feel good though, to know a decision has been made.

TPM ~ even visited "the paws", becautiful campus, terrific baseball facitilites, but this has always been his dream school, early, early on; I think even before starting school! And YES, most definitely an ACC school!

Thanks justbaseball and gtmom! I am confident that son will love it. Almost wish it was this year so we could get started, but don't want to wish away his senior season.

Very true EH! Our worries as we send kids off to college pale in contrast to those parents! My prayers and respect always to those making those sacrifices!

I think you hear so many horror stories when kids go off to college, that it's easy to develop visions of beer drinking and class skipping young men. Fortunately, when playing baseball, our young guys have another set of eyes focused on them that are concerned about their welfare and success. It's a huge bonus in sending a kid off to college!
