This weekend, in fact, I learned about two juniors from Troy-Triad who are big prospects.

OK, so who let the secret out?

Yes, we have a couple of talented young men. We have another who isn't getting the same interest but is just about as good. I have been unable to state anything about them since I don't have their permission slips back from their parents. I asked again today. As many of you know, coaches are now under a lot of pressure to document parental permission before releasing any information on high school players. Our school has now made that mandatory. We have a form that must be turned in before I say anything. When that is completed, I'll be glad to weigh in on these fine young lads.

Coach B, I was right there during Sean's conversation with the informant at the state clinic............ It just goes to show how hard Sean works to get as much information about kids all over the state.

So you can tell me who to send Guido to see! We're trying to fly under the radar this year. Kind of trying to get the, "Poor Knights, they don't have anyone and now we'll see just how good that old man is over there when he doesn't have talent" type of thing going on. LOL!

Yes, Sean is doing a fantastic job!!! baseball7

CoachB,

Let's face it. You're not a guy that I'd like to sit down and play cards with. I imagine you with a poker face, expressionless and ready to "go all in". LOL. Your "poor Knights" routine has been exposed. Your teams are very good, sometimes very, very good and their consistency is a testament to your coaching and mentoring. Best of luck in this coming season and I'll be anxious to hear about your "under the radar" trio.

itsrosy, I don't know how to play cards. Thanks for the compliment and back at you. I've heard we have 9 kids coming out this year so we get to have a team. We are placing want ads for that 10TH so we can see if we know how to use the DH. LOL! I JUST CAN'T WAIT UNTIL FEB. 27!!!

I know everyone (especially students) doesn't have the money to buy a subscription, but for those of you aren't buying because of a seemingly high price or because you doubt it's worth it...think again. It's not like Time Magazine where they are printing millions of copies and selling billions in advertising so the price can be a buck or whatever it is. If you have the money, don't question whether it's worth it or not...it is and you will be surprised at the quality for a State HS Baseball Magazine. You will learn about kids and teams out of your neighborhood that you never knew about. It's not all rankings and such....every issue has features about kids and how they got where they are and what they have been through. I don't get anything for this either except Sean picked on me for razzing him about last years' rankings.

You will get your money's worth in enjoyment...guaranteed!
