LOL!  The devil is always in the details.

My son has received many also. One school has sent him 2 with the wrong name.  

My son got lots of emails from coaches that saw him last summer at a Headfirst Honor Roll camps.  They were impressed with his play, etc.  Only problem - is he never went.

And not sure if this applies in this string - but my favorite is a D1 recruiter, after an East Cobb game asked that my son call him.  My son did - and he wanted to have him on campus, see facilities, etc.  My son politely told him that he had already been on campus 5 months earlier.  The coach said he didn't realize that - yet he was the one that set it up, met us on campus, etc.  Busy guys I know - but really?

Baseball - that is a good one.  I find funny also when they continually ask son to fill out the questionnaire and he already has on multiple occasions.  I think they need some clerical assistance.  

We had exactly the same situation with a DII coach. Also, 2013 continues to receive emails from a couple coaches saying he's a top prospect . . . never mind that graduated in May and he's on the fall roster at a DIII.

I am beginning to think that the September 1 date is like Valentines Day in grade school. Sometimes it's just the sender is working off a list given by the teacher to make everyone feel good. You know it's genuine only when there is some "candy" attached to it.

I have to share that the DII school emailed us again today. It actually came to my email address - probably because I was the one who registered and paid the camp fee. It appears to be a new coach, so I took a moment to reply that they can remove 2013 from their database.
