Thanks for posting that SSM. I called my husband and sons in to watch it as well.

I work with terminal cancer patients on a daily basis. Upon learning what I do for the first time people always ask me how I can stay in that type of job, and how stressful and sad it must be. This is the reason why...most have so much to offer about the truths of living! Even then it is still all to easy to get caught up in the trivialities of everyday life. Its good to have a reminder about what is truly important.
Thank you again.
Randy Pausch is someone I have looked up to professionally for many years - his work around how people interact with computers is simply some of the best in the field.

More recently, Randy has also become someone I look up to for another reason - his ability to deal with something we all must face and to do so with such grace has made him a personal role model.

The full length version of his last lacture as well as much more about his story can be found here:

Well worth hours of your time...

For anyone who may have missed it, Randy passed away this morning...

In my mind he leaves an incredible legacy - both professionally and well as in the way he went living his entire life.

He leaves behind for all of us his book, the video his last lecture, both providing an excellent example of living out your dreams and leaving this earth with dignity.

May he rest in peace.

Read his book - great guidance for getting through this thing called life.

I would like to get the book too. I watched SSM's link and what inspirational messages he sends us. He was an amazing spirit that no doubt will be missed by many people. May God Bless his family and may they feel blessed by the legacy he leaves them.
