Hey Guys! Iv been reading these forums on all high school baseball websites for awhile but I finally decided to indulge and start putting in my input on a few.

Lets hear a few of the top pitching prospects in the DFW area and who to watch....Heres mine.(No Order)

Walker Kelly- Electric Stuff, Good body, Will be a strong a lefty for a while

Jordan Swaggerty- Great Velocity, Very projectable

Teddy Nowell- Can compete anywhere, great lefty movement

Curtis Peterson- Long, Projectable, Will Throw hard for a long time

Kaleb Merck- Strong Body, Will Overpower

Matt Lackie- Savy Pitcher, ball is quicker than seems, very good prospect

Aaron Gilbreath- Big Lefty Prospect, throws hard and will throw even harder, What you want in a lefty

Jake Feckley- Very Mature pitcher for age, Velocity is steadily increasing, will be fun to watch

Drew Verhagen- Tall, Long, Watch out for Mid 90 stuff when its said and done

Jeff Emens- Another savy type pitcher- like the body, projectable, very good two way guy

Zach Lee- Youngest, Will be Big, Throws hard, Competitor

Haha I wouldnt put him with those guys.

I listed him with the poteet players because I know them the best.

Clearly Nonemaker, Good, and Riley havent done enough to merit consideration to be put up with those guys.

That district is going to very competitive, and I'm excited to see how it pans out. Rockwall Heath, HP, Poteet, and Forney all have the pitching to compete.

I realize I've been somewhat over the top the past few days and I apologize

There's no Chase Puttman on the team. Go SABERCATS!!! Also, I just got a note from the SaberCats saying that we have to have our green-cards turned in??? any ideas on that?
A few other ones I like to watch are...

Vance Woodruff- Yes, as said, very raw. He should be very high up considering his ceiling but it is at times hard to know how raw

Kyle Meinhardt- Smaller build but very crafty, will get gets out, Not overpowering but will out think hitter, Beat Blake Beavan so caught my attention

There are plenty more I can say its just I like to hear other opinions

No, we are listing good players from Fossil Ridge High School in Texas. They are a good program and have a very good ball player by the name of Joey and he is 6'0" tall and very, very good. He is looking to get on the FR Midland Travel team for this coming summer.

ALso, we are listing some other good Texas Baseball players because Texas is such a big state there are lot's of choices. Does anyone know who the #1 PP player for '08 in Texas is? And I'm talking about a position player,,,,NOT a pitcher. Thanks a ton.

There are good arms all across the Metroplex in different age groups, but here are just a few of several in the 2010 group that could be special:

Zach Lee---McKinney
Shane Henderson---Flower Mound
Andrew Blum---Plano West
Will Abbott---Coppell
Tyler Knurdin---FW Paschal
Chris Good---Poteet
Tyler Cotton---Richland
Scotty Young---Denton Ryan
Jacques de Gruy---Jesuit
Chase Weaver---Richardson
Kris Gardner---Prestonwood
Cody Polk---Richland
Ryan Merritt---Celina

These are just a few...there are plenty more worth mentioning.
