chs - I take it you did not return to Walters State this year. That's a very good JUCO!

There use to be a tryout schedule for MLB on their website, however I didn't see one.

If you go to individual team sites and do a search "tryout", you should get lists of dates for that team. I just did one for the Reds and their summer tryouts (at least those that are open) are done. Perhaps some other teams would have some remaining.

If you had some trouble in school and just didn't return this fall, perhaps you should think about returning somewhere in the spring.

Like Lafmom said the MLB scouting bureau website and the major league teams sites have their tryouts posted. Sometimes. What that newletter that I subscribe to does, is it lists a lot of independant league tryouts. Teams and leagues I had never heard of before.

Call your coach at Walters and see if he still has phone numbers and/or email addresses of as many area scouts as he has. If that fails then call the club's scouting directors and ask someone in their office if they could get you in touch w/ the area scout(s). Numbers can be found on mlb.com (go to respective team).

Independent Leagues websites can be found as well. Call the league office and inquire about tryouts.

I believe almost all the scheduled tryout dates are past but here is the link to the MLB tryouts. There is also a link to the left, on the MLB page, that takes you to a page that has the individual club tryout links. You can sort through those.
