Ringer1, actually Garland is now 2-5, beating South and North. North is 0-6. What happened to Parish? How long is he out?

I apologize. I just copied it off the DMN website and changed Rowlett's just because I knew it was wrong. I'll change it though.

You have a PM

Parish hit the wall, literally, he hit the wall with his fist during the NFHS game after striking out. Last I heard he broke his hand and is out for a few weeks.

RockDad may have more information.
The Star-Telegram got the Carroll game wrong. The box score showed that Richland won. Carroll was also behind last Friday against Grapevine 1-0 in the 7th inning but pulled that one out.

It's gotta be coaching. Isn't that where the blame always lies? Please don't hang me, I'm only kidding.

We all know Colleyville is loaded with talented players, but so is Grapevine, Carroll, Richland, Haltom, Keller, Central, and Northwest. Maybe it's just a game at a time, pitch at a time, play at a time type of situation.

Any given day...any given team...

Enough with the Colleyville Heritage praises.

The game was supposed to be played at North, but when the coaches were starting to water the infield before the game, our quick coupler malfunctioned and flooded the infield. We had to move the game to Little Elm's field. Game started at 8:45pm!! Crazy!!!!

OP, The same thing happened to Badman's Son's Team this summer while getting ready to play a game at North. Of course we blamed it on Badman's Son's thinking he turned the coupler the wrong way. He will be glad to hear it happened to someone else also. An 8:45 start time, man that makes for a late night for sure.

Another example where the Coaches should have control of the players. ... The Umpires are not
baby-sitters. They are there to call the game the best they can.

No issue with coaches control of players or the umps. NF battled back to tie the game in bottom 7. Going to 8th they were excited, we were excited. Nothing more IMO. Great game. Hope #7 gets back. Missed his bat on Tue. He hit one out against NF just left of center and the 370 sign on the 12ft high fence.
