........Again?
That's what everyone on campus is saying.
It's on ESPN.com and he says it's for family stuff.
Sorry to see it. I think when he is 'on' his game he is one of the best 2 or 3 college football coaches in America.
Hope he is able to come back soon.

He should have stuck by his instincts last year and stayed retired. Don't think his heart was, is in it any longer.
He may change his mind after some well deserved time away from the game. It would seem to be a point in his life when he needs that.
It seemed to me that when Tebow left, Urban's desire waned. It would appear they were that close.

A lot of people here on campus agree with you. He sure did a great job while he was here, though. Folks are already speculating about who will take his place.
My first reaction was to say "good riddance". But after I thought about it some I came to realize that it's not Urban that I can't stand. It's the Gators that I've never liked! lol. Why? I guess the ole ball coach had a lot to do with it they way he always beat us Dawgs.
I know Florida won't have any problem replacing him. It's one of the top programs in the country to coach. They'll get another 1st class guy in, and soon.

p.s. I use to HATE how Spurrier would sling that visor off his head and sling it. That look on his face was ugly, yet priceless! Woody, can you help us out on an oldy but goody?

YGD I think Florida is in a bad spot and could go down very quickly. They have the spread option offense but they got a classic drop back / not mobile quarterback. Whoever comes in as coach has to make a decision which direction do they want to go in. Stick with the spread option and have to find a new QB which could lead them to several seasons of multiple losses.
Or they could stick with the QB and have to radically change the offense. Teach a whole new system and try to fit spread option personnel into the new offense.
I think they are better off sticking with the offense and find a new QB. The guy they have is talented but just not for this system. I have no idea why they recruited him and hope he can transfer to another school where he could fit in and maximize his talent.

Jeff Driskell has committed to UF in both baseball and football. We went to see his team play in playoffs. My husband and son commented he was the best high school football player they had ever seen, (This includes Emmett Smith and Ray Lewis)
He's big, strong, fast, good arm, and smart. Definitely their QB of the future, unless Urban leaving changes things. He sounds like an exceptional baseball player as well.

Jeff Driskell is coming to Florida. He has committed in both BB and FB. Best HS quarterback in the country according to many. We went to see him play and my husband thinks he is the best HS football player he has ever seen at ANY position. He's fast, great arm, strong, big, and smart. Also sounds like a great BB player, and signed his NLI I believe. Unless Urban Meyer; decision to leave affects Driskell's decision I think they will be fine in the QB position.
Is Zook available?

That's the way life is...we never know 'til we make a decision if it's what's best.
Meyer is a quality guy, hopefully, not one to look back with any regrets but one to learn from the experience and move on to a better life, focusing on family and not the grind of life as a high profile college coach.
Good move in my book.
