Does anyone have any recent experience with the coaches/recruiters, student development people?

Several players from our area have been recruited by them lately, and I'm interested in other perspectives. The other posts I found were all rather old.

Guess I can answer this one. My son Ryan signed with Valpo in November. The school was everything he was looking for.. Great educational rep (most important), pitching and head coaches with MLB experience, program on the rise, school size not overwhelming, etc. Add a Lutheran Chapel (added bonus for us) and it was done. No negatives. As a matter of fact, we made the mistake of taking our oldest with on one of our visits.. He transferred.

We are looking forward to seeing both in Crusader uniforms in the fall.

Thanks so much for the insight - good to have a current perspective! 2013 will be there for a showcase this summer and the campus looks just lovely in the virtual tour.
