I saw this last night and thought it was one of the funniest things I've ever seen! Obviously, that pitcher has his glove specially made, but it's one ugly glove! Funny stuff!!

There actually is a rule that the ump should have been enforcing - 6.06b says once the pitcher is ready to pitch, the batter may not switch sides... So basically, the pitcher is going to get to make the final move...

It is pretty darn funny...

That makes since to me?

Once the batter is in the Box.
And the Pitcher steps to the mound .
The Batter should not be able to cross over the plate to the other side.
At Least not until the Batter calls time-out.
Thats leaving the batter's box and stepping over the plate which should be an out??
