Chicks,
Not only does Montana NOT have high school baseball, there are only a couple of JUCO's that have a baseball program, and none of the state's 4 year colleges have baseball programs.
I guess my boys won't be going to school any where close to home!
Great idea, chicks.
Maybe I can help fill in some gaps in the Midwest:
Missouri: Southwest Missouri State (SMS)
Mizzou
Kansas: Wichita State
Nebraska: University of Nebraska
Creighton University
Oklahoma: Oklahoma State
University of Oklahoma
Iowa: University of Iowa
Arkansas: University of Arkansas
Ohio: Miami University-Ohio
University of Cincinnati
University of Minnesota made some preseason lists and so did Boston College.
Kind of fun for a cold winter day. Can't wait for season to start.

Might want to add to the above
Ohio - Ohio State - Big Ten Conference
Iowa - Northern Iowa - Missouri Valley conference
Kansas - Both Kansas and Kansas State are in one of the top conferences (the Big 12).

Im a little partial well alot but NC is really on the rise. UNC, NC State, Wake Forest, East Carolina, UNC Wilmington, UNC Greensboro, Western Carolina, Elon College. All of these programs are really recruiting well and all have made outstanding facility upgrades. Thats just some of the D-1 universities. We are loaded with quality D-2 and D-3's as well. Not to mention one of the best Junior College programs in the nation in Louisburg College.
For all time program history in South Dakota. South Dakota State University. barring last year...a constant in conference tournament play, several regional appearances. Time will tell what the new D1 designation will bring.

For Maine, it can only be the Black Bears of the Univ of Maine, best in Maine for sure.....and one of the best in the NE.
For Maine....it has to be the Black Bears of the Univ. of Maine/Orono.....best in the Maine and one of the best in the NE.

I disagree with your take on UNLV. Nevada
Reno is a great program and has had some great
years under Gary Powers.
When UNR gets nationally ranked like UNLV did last year, then you can put up an arguement about that. Until then, it's UNLV in Nevada.

cbg...What has Vandy done in the last 5 years?
They weren't even .500 in the SEC!!!!
Corbin is a hot coaching commodity...I would be surprised if he lasts at Vandy more than a couple of years...2006 and he's gone.
