GoHit,

Interesting question.  Dustin Pedroia, Roger Federer, and Monica Seles (former athlete) are three athletes I admire although they are not all active.

1) I'd ask them who are their favorite or most admired athletes/coaches are

2) What sacrifices have you or your family made to get to the top of your profession?

3) Would you do anything differently?

4) What makes you tick?

5) What do you do with any spare time you have?

I can't stop at three.  I like competitors with a head for the game and likeable personalities who aren't too cocky and able to stay true to themselves and give back as well... Peyton Manning, RGIII, Andrew McCutcheon.  I like competitors who quietly go about their business and can perform at the highest level while staying true to themselves... Drew Brees, Phil Mickelson, Tim Hudson, Buster Posey, CC Sabathia, Mark Texiera, Joe Mauer, Cliff Lee.  I like guys who do all the above, plus can play more than one sport at the highest level... Russell Wilson (who was picked up today in the Rule 5 MILB draft!).

You can guess what I would ask them... how are you able to stay true to yourself through it all?
